Wonder project

 Welcome back to my blog everybody! today is the last day of school in week three term four. On Wednesday, we tested the rockets we had been working on. What happened is q visitor named sihang came in at week 5 or 6 of term 3 and started to teach us rocket safety. we went home for lockdown postponing our lessons. we learned all about rockets and newton's laws. last week, we started to develop our rockets. to make our rocket, we took a bottle and cut the top of another bottle off and glued it onto the first bottle. It looked like this:

after we had the basics, we could decorate the rocket.

It was cool.

Maori comic strips

 Hello everybody! This week, my highlight is making comic strips. All we had to do was make a comic strip. But here's the catch: It had to be in Maori. Mine started as me meeting Jeff and saying hi. Next, Jeff says Hi and asks my name. I say Tristan and ask him his name. He says Jeff, but then says just kidding and turns into Sans from undertale. He destroys me and my soul floats away(in the next part!). I will put Part one in:

I finished that one early, so I started to make another part. First my soul floats out of my body and goes to just shapes and beats land. A neutral person stabs himself with a magical triangle and turns bad. He tries to destroy you. Eventually, he hits himself which destroys him. I will put in part two:

Waikowhai Primary Film Festival

 Hello, everybody! welcome to term 4! This and last term, we worked on and posted films for film festival. my friends and I made a film called the lockdown show. the films entered a competition and the best ones got shown at saint Lukes  (it is down below! PLZ check it out.) We went to the cinema to watch some of the winning ones, and mine was one of them! There was some other videos as well but I will not put them on here.(link to them at the bottom!)

 Hello everybody! Welcome back to my blog. We did so much this week! I need to tell you about some of it. First, we played basketball. We were taught by Ronan and Mikey. I had a lot of fun in the ten second game. What we had to do, is steal the ball from the defending person and keep it for 10 seconds. Inside the circle, you can run freely, but if you go outside the circle, You have to give the attacker the ball. Next, we did some film festival. In that, we build a film on Imovie and put it into a competition. They all get put into a theatre, and this years theme was kindness. This morning, we did a kahoot about the Tongan islands week. First week back at school! (after lockdown.)

This week was the first week back at school! (after lockdown.) We did so much, like practice for production practice, film festive and more! First, I want to tell you about my recipe. Please try it! What we had to do, is make a recipe (or copy a recipe) and write it down. I put in a milkshake recipe, which I really like, and made a cool little slide. It is only one slide long, but it the recipe is delicious.

We also Did something called film fest. It is when we make a 3 minute long film, and add sound effects and stuff. There is a contest of who's video is the best, and there are many schools involved. 

Friday 7th august

It's Friday again!

This week was packed with all sorts of fun activities and other cool work, such as
tennis, wonder project and more! First of all, I will start with... 
 Production practice. At school, we are making a play. 
Each student has his/her own part in the play. My part is professor quadratic.
I have 2 lines, and would have preferred a couple more lines, or no lines, but I really like my part.
Next I will tell you about... Wonder Project! At school, we have an ambassador named Sihang coming in
 to teach us how to build a Rocket. so far, we are on module 2. (A.K.A unpack the rocket and safety.)
Now I will talk about... Cross country. Guess what? I got into cross country zones! 
my place in cross country in the school is 5th place, and the top 5 people in year 4, 5 and 6 got in.
Finally i will talk about tennis. We had tennis lessons on Wednesday and I was really bad at it. We had 
lots of tasks such as bouncing the ball around the court and bouncing the ball to each other.

Matriki day

Yesterday was matariki day. It was so fun. We did so much stuff!(we did 3 things.)
First,

 We made some matariki kites.

You need bamboo strips, paper and feathers. 

We made a base with the bamboo and then made a punch of paper patterned and put it on the base. 

Next, we went to bake some bread. 

First you get some water, next you get some self raising flour.

After that you mix it and put in a bunch of cooking oil.

After that, we went to do some stop motion.

We had to make it about a maori story. 

My story was mori and the sun.
