                                                My lockdown diary

Lockdown started on 24th of March and ended on the 18th May. A really long time.

Lockdown started when somebody was bitten by a bat. (or we think it was a bat!) When the bite happened, the person caught a virus called Covid-19. This happened in China. Soon Covid was all over China and not so long after it was all over the World! This virus caused an outbreak and everybody had to go and stay in their home. Most people knows about lockdown. But not many people know what others have done during lockdown...

What I did for lockdown is... Well I guess I played a lot of video games and played in my back yard a ton, but I still thought lockdown is really boring. it was until my online schooling started. It took up most of my time. As lockdown progressed, we started to do something called lockdown diary. My lockdown diary is a cool slideshow that I can record and do work that my teacher set me. We do it because it will help us remember the pandemic in 2020 of coronavirus. I enjoyed doing some of the slides like the blank to write anything slide. I wrote about minecraft. I also enjoyed the slide that I have to insert pictures of my family because I got some funny pictures. I did not enjoy writing a poem because I did not know what to write but then Ari my friend said I could list stuff about him.

First week back at school! post lock down week 6

Awesome! first week back at school!!!

    Today is the first week back at school!

Me and Ari have already played with each other.

When we came back to school we did something called lockdown creations.

We record the work we have done.

Lockdown

Hey guys, right now I am stuck at home going crazy in my room. Due to Coronavirus, every body is stuck in their houses doing stuff. In the past 5 days, I have made and done a lot of stuff I could not do while I was at school. here, I'll show you some. we did some amazing art. It took a while but we found stuff to paint on such as bricks canvases and paper. We also played settlers of Catan. (a really good game.)You are trying to get ten victory points to win the game. Build houses and citys to get victory points. Next, we played with our Lego for like 3 hours. Katie was building a city while i was building an army base. Look to the right side of my blog post to see some pictures. Then we made some forts. They were ginormous! One of them was made out of bamboo. We were working for 1 hour to make the bamboo fort. The other fort was connecting me and my sisters room together. Every morning we go on a 30 minute walk down to the dog park or the playground. We don't
play on the playground but we do climb the trees. My Favourite tree is one that is
super high and has lots of branches. Everyday me and my sisters go out side and play bus. Bus is a game where one person is in a chair which is connected to a rope. This person is the bus driver. The other person stands on a tree and tries to get on the chair. Once the other person
 is on the driver of the bus tries to shake the other person off.

Cameron pools

Hey guys! in the past three weeks, we have been visiting our local pool, Cameron pools. We go every Tuesday and Thursday. When we get there we split up and go into our groups, different groups go into different pools. Sometimes we all get together and do something in the large pool. Recently we gathered and used life jackets and a big life boat, here are some pictures: 

 We practised dropping off the boat, forming a chain, and huddling to keep warm. It was awesome!

Hey guys, welcome to my second post! Today I would like to tell you about my portrait! To start we sketched a picture on paper, it was all of our face. Then we went into our art books and sketched another face - but we sketched only half a face with a lot of detail, we then made the face we sketched in our art book look like it was from another decade. then we coloured it in partly and planned a background. finally we got our final paper and started to paint a final back ground. Then we got our photos and put them on the picture.
After we put dye on the other side and sketched ourselves in another decade. All we had to do now is colour it in. In this picture represent the four type of photos: paint dye, photo and colour pencil.
